ABOUT MONIQUE
Monique Young is an actor, singer, and dancer. Most recently she was in the West End production of Mary Poppins where she understudied Winifred Banks and Mary Poppins.
She was born in Orange County, California, and lived there for seven years with her Mum, Dad, and two sisters before moving to the U.K. When she was 14 she was awarded a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. She spent five years training which helped her gain a DaDA at the Arts Educational School, London where she received a First Class Honours in Musical Theatre.
Since then, she has toured the U.K. in shows such as; Top Hat and Hairspray. She has performed in Paris at the Théâtre du Châtelet in 42nd Street and in Singin' in the Rain at the Grand Palais.

in 2018 she performed at the Curve Theatre in Leicester where she played Judy Haynes in Nikolai Foster and Stephen Mear's production of White Christmas.

Not only does Monique have a passion for theatre in her spare time you can find her teaching, cycling, drawing, or curled up with a book.
